Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and Guisera ("we", "us"). They apply when you create an account, install our desktop application, or use the service in any way. If you do not accept them, please do not use the service.

We have written them in plain language on purpose. Where a term has a specific meaning, it is defined where it first appears rather than in a glossary nobody reads.

1. What the service does

Guisera transforms your live camera feed in real time. You choose a reference image — we call it a Skin — and the service renders you as that character while you are on a video call, a livestream, or a recording. There are also separate AI tools that work on single images rather than live video.

The transformation is performed by a third-party AI processing provider. See How the AI works for exactly what is sent where, and our privacy policy for how we handle it.

2. Your account

You need an account, and you must confirm your email address before you can use the service. You must be at least 18 years old.

You are responsible for what happens under your account. Keep your password to yourself, and turn on two-factor authentication if the account matters to you. If you think someone else has access, change your password and tell us at info@guisera.online.

One person, one account. Do not share credentials, and do not create a second account to obtain the sign-up credit again.

3. Credits, and what they are not

The service is paid for with credits. You buy credits in advance and spend them as you use the service. There is no subscription and no recurring charge — nothing is billed to you automatically.

Credits are not money. They are a prepaid entitlement to use this service. They have no cash value, they cannot be transferred to another account, sold, or exchanged for currency, and they are not a deposit or a stored-value instrument.

Live sessions are charged by the minute at the rate shown before you start. AI tool runs are charged per run. The current rates are on the pricing page, and the rate that applies to a session is the one shown when that session begins — a later change does not apply retrospectively to a session already running.

We do not charge you for time the service failed to deliver. Where a live session produces no video, that time is not billed. The rules for this are set out in Credits and refunds.

4. Paying

Payments are made by the methods shown at checkout and are confirmed by us before credits are added. Confirmation is not instant: someone reviews the payment against the reference you provide. Quote the reference we give you, and attach your receipt, or we cannot match your payment to your order and your credits will be delayed.

Prices are shown in the currency stated at checkout. You are responsible for any transaction fees your payment method charges, and for any taxes that apply where you live.

5. What you may not do

The detailed rules are in Content and conduct, and they form part of these terms. In summary, you must not use the service to impersonate a real person without their agreement, to deceive people about who they are speaking to in a way that causes harm, to produce sexual content involving anyone who has not consented or who is a minor, or to break the law.

You must also not attempt to extract, resell, or rebuild the underlying AI models, use automated means to create accounts or consume credits, or interfere with the service's operation.

6. Your content, and who owns what

You keep everything you own. Your Skins, your camera feed, and the output you produce remain yours. We do not claim ownership of them and we do not use them to train AI models.

You give us only the permission we need to run the service for you: to transmit your Skin and camera feed to the AI processing provider so the transformation can happen, and to store what we must in order to operate your account.

You promise that you have the right to use every reference image you upload — that it is you, or that the person shown has agreed, or that it is a fictional character or an image you are licensed to use.

7. The software

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, revocable licence to install and use the desktop application. You may not copy it for redistribution, decompile it, or remove any notices from it.

The application updates itself. Updates can change or remove features, and may be required in order to keep using the service.

8. Availability

We try to keep the service running and we do not promise that it always will be. It depends on third parties — an AI processing provider, hosting, a network — and any of them can fail. We may also take it down for maintenance.

Real-time AI video is demanding, and the quality you get depends on your camera, your computer, and your connection. We cannot promise a particular frame rate, latency, or visual result.

9. Suspension and closure

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the conduct rules, that we reasonably believe is being used fraudulently, or where we are required to by law.

Where we suspend an account, we will tell you why unless we are legally prevented from doing so, and you may respond to us at info@guisera.online. If we close your account for a breach, unused credits are forfeited. If we close it for any other reason, or if we stop offering the service, we will refund unused credits as described in Credits and refunds.

You can close your own account at any time by writing to us.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profits, revenue, or opportunity, or for loss arising from your use of the output — including any consequence of a stream, call, or recording made using the service. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.

The service is provided as it is. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.

11. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. If a change materially affects your rights, we will tell you by email or in the application before it takes effect, and the date at the top of this page always shows when it last changed. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it. If you do not, close your account and we will refund unused credits.

12. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of the jurisdiction stated in our operator details below, and disputes are subject to the courts of that jurisdiction. Nothing here removes any right you have under consumer law where you live.
