OBS is where most people put their avatar to work. The setup takes about two minutes and, once it is right, it stays right.
Add it as a Browser Source
Start a session in the desktop app, copy the Browser Source address it gives you, and paste that into a new Browser Source in OBS. Set the width and height to 1280 × 720 to match the output.
That address contains a stream key unique to your machine. Treat it like a password: do not share it, and do not leave it visible in a screenshot.
Two mistakes worth avoiding
- Resizing the source instead of setting its dimensions. Stretching the box rescales the picture twice. Set the real size and let OBS place it.
- Leaving the session running after the stream. Credits are billed by the minute while a session is live. Stop the session, not just the stream.
Check it before you go live
The app has a preview address alongside the output one, with a frame counter. If the number is steady, the picture reaching OBS is steady.
